Paris stocks are showing a strong upward trend on Tuesday, building on the gains from the previous session, after the approval of a short-term funding bill late Monday that concluded the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.
The legislation is set to proceed to the House, with a potential vote anticipated as soon as Wednesday. The benchmark CAC 40 has increased by 47.14 points, representing approximately 0.6%, reaching 8,102.65. Where as –
- Hermes International is experiencing a 3% increase.
- LVMH is experiencing a 1.75% increase following reports that the luxury group intends to launch significant stores in China this December and is contemplating additional expansion in the area.
- Capgemini has increased by 1.35%, whereas Sanofi, Saint Gobain, Dassault Systemes, TotalEnergies, Vinci, Publicis Groupe, and Bouygues have risen by 1 to 1.2%.
Edenred has experienced a decline of 2.3%. Thales has decreased by 0.8%, whereas Unibail Rodamco, Societe Generale, Safran, and Pernod Ricard are experiencing slight declines.
