Paris stocks exhibit a modest uptick on Monday as investors persist in analyzing the most recent quarterly earnings, while also responding to data indicating an enhancement in the country’s manufacturing activity for the month of October. The benchmark CAC 40 experienced an increase of 19.80 points, translating to approximately 0.25%, reaching a level of 8,140.87.

Renault is experiencing an increase of over 3%. The French automaker announced its intention to divest a 26.4 percent stake in its Brazilian subsidiary, Renault do Brasil, to the Chinese automaker Geely Automobile. Where as –

  • Stellantis is experiencing an increase of 2.75%, while Edenred is showing a gain of 2.15%.
  • Michelin has increased by 1.8%, while Orange has risen by 1.7%.
  • LVMH, Engie, Thales, Societe Generale, AXA, Euronext, Kering, Accor, and Eurofins
    Scientific have all experienced significant increases in value.
  • Capgemini has experienced a decline of 1.9%.
  • BNP Paribas is experiencing a decline of 1.3%, alongside Carrefour, Saint Gobain,
    Unibail Rodamco, and Danone, all of which are registering modest losses.

Data indicated that France’s HCOB Manufacturing PMI increased to 48.8 in October, up from 48.2 in September, reflecting a continued contraction, albeit at a more moderate rate. The HCOB Eurozone Manufacturing PMI was confirmed at 50.0 in October, reflecting a slight increase from 49.8 in September, following a minor decline in the preceding month.
