Investors are closely monitoring the forthcoming minutes from the Federal Reserve’s latest policy meeting, seeking insights into potential future policy adjustments by the U.S. central bank.

The benchmark CAC 40 increased by 27.02 points, reflecting a rise of 0.33%, reaching 8,338.76 approximately thirty minutes after noon.

  • BNP Paribas has experienced an increase of 1.8%, while Credit Agricole has seen a rise of nearly 1.5%.
  • L’Oreal has experienced an increase of 3.2%. Societe Generale is experiencing an increase of nearly 3%.
  • Thales has increased by 2.3%, whereas Eiffage, Airbus, Bouygues, Veolia Environment, LVMH, Accor, AXA, and Legrand have seen gains ranging from 0.8% to 1.7%.

Data indicated that Eurozone industrial production experienced a decline for the first time in four months in December, decreasing by 1.4%, in contrast to the 0.3% increase recorded in November. The year-on-year increase in industrial production moderated to 1.2% in December, down from 2.2% in November. The last instance of a comparable rate of decelerated growth was noted in August 2025.

In the EU27, industrial production experienced a more pronounced decline of 0.8% on a monthly basis, following a decrease of 0.1% in November. In comparison to the previous year, production increased by 1.4%, although this figure falls short of the 2% rise observed in November.
