CAC 40 experiencing significant gains on Thursday, bouncing back from recent declines, as stronger-than-anticipated results and guidance from AI leader Nvidia have alleviated worries regarding valuations in the technology sector. Investors are currently focused on the upcoming jobs data from the U.S. as they seek insights into the Federal Reserve’s potential actions concerning interest rates.

The benchmark CAC 40 experienced an increase of 52.60 points, reflecting a rise of 0.66%, reaching a level of 8,006.37 recently. Where as –

  • BNP Paribas is experiencing an increase of 5%.
  • Legrand has increased by almost 3%, whereas Thales, Societe Generale, Credit Agricole,
    Schneider Electric, and Safran have risen between 1.4% and 2%.
  • Airbus Group, Engie, LVMH, Bureau Veritas, TotalEnergies, Veolia Environment,
    and Bouygues have experienced moderate gains.
  • Stellantis is experiencing a decrease of 2.2%. STMicroElectronics has decreased by 2%,
    while Renault has seen a decline of 1.8%.
  • Vinci, Hermes International, Accor, Michelin, and Saint Gobain have experienced a
    decline ranging from 0.4% to 0.8%.

A report indicated that Eurozone construction output experienced a decline for the second consecutive month in September, decreasing by 0.5%, after a 0.2% drop in August. On a yearly basis, construction output experienced a decline of 0.3%, contrasting with the 1% increase observed in August.
