CAC Futures Updates

CAC 40 is currently experiencing a downturn around noon on Wednesday, as investors anticipate insights from U.S. AI leader Nvidia and await significant U.S. economic data for guidance on future movements. The benchmark CAC 40, continuing its recent downward trend, declined by 16.06 points or 0.2% to reach 7951.87. Where as –

  • Kering has experienced a decline exceeding 3%.
  • Orange has experienced a decline of nearly 2%, whereas Bouygues, Engie, Vinci, Sanofi, Capgemini,
    Renault, Credit Agricole, and Carrefour have seen reductions ranging from 0.5% to 1.1%.
  • Among the gainers, Hermes International has increased by nearly 1%.
  • TotalEnergies, Legrand, ArcelorMittal, Edenred, Publicis Groupe,
    and Michelin are experiencing increases ranging from 0.4% to 0.8%.

In the realm of economic developments, Data indicated that the annual inflation rate in the Eurozone remained at 2.1% in October, a slight decrease from 2.2% in September, thus remaining in proximity to the European Central Bank’s target of 2%. In the context of the largest Eurozone economies, Germany experienced a deceleration in inflation, registering at 2.3% for October, a slight decrease from the 2.4% observed in the preceding month. France’s inflation decreased to 0.8%, down from 1.1%.

A report indicated that the Eurozone current account surplus decreased to €38.1 billion in September 2025, a decline from a revised €43.5 billion in the same month the previous year. Exports rose by 6.7% to €250.0 billion, whereas imports experienced a more modest increase of 4.4% to €215.9 billion.
