CAC Futures Updates

CAC 40 experiencing a significant decline on Tuesday, furthering recent losses, as concerns persist regarding elevated tech valuations and ongoing uncertainty surrounding the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decisions. Investor sentiment is markedly cautious as they anticipate significant updates from AI leader Nvidia, scheduled for Wednesday, alongside key U.S. economic data that may provide directional insights.

The benchmark CAC 40 experienced a decline of 101.33 points, reflecting a decrease of 1.25%, currently standing at 8,017.69, having slightly recovered from a low of 7,983.86. All components of the CAC 40 index are currently positioned in negative territory. Where as –

  • Stellantis is experiencing a decline of 3.3%, while Societe Generale has
    decreased by 2.9%, and Renault is down approximately 2.6%.
  • Credit Agricole has experienced a decline of 1.6% following the
    announcement of its new medium-term plan, ACT 2028.
  • STMicroElectronics, BNP Paribas, Accor, and Edenred have experienced
    declines ranging from 2% to 2.2%.

Capgemini, Sanofi, TotalEnergies, Pernod Ricard, Hermes International, Schneider Electric, Veolia Environment, Carrefour, Saint Gobain, Legrand, and Michelin have experienced declines ranging from 1.1% to 1.7%.
