CAC Futures Morning Update on 08 August

The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,525.53  up with +0.076% percent or +4.22 point .The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,670.50 up with +0.92% percent or +70.00 point.  The DAX Futures is trading at 12,592.00  with a loss of -0.49% percent or -61.50 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,501.00  with a loss of -0.14% percent or -5.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Asian shares extended their recovery into a fourth day on Wednesday, buoyed by strong U.S. earnings and expectations that Beijing will ramp up fiscal stimulus to cushion the impact of its worsening trade dispute with Washington.

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan gained 0.3 percent, led by Taiwan, while Japan’s Nikkei ticked down 0.1 percent.

Bucking the trend were Chinese shares, which slipped more than 1 percent after the United States said it would begin collecting 25 percent tariffs on an additional $16 billion worth of Chinese goods this month, the second leg of its first China-targetted tariffs on $50 billion goods.
