The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,448.65 up with +0.27% percent or +14.46 point . The DAX Futures is trading at 12,666.50  with  a loss of -0.22% percent or -27.50 point . The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,630.00  with  a loss of -0.39% percent or -30.00 point. The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,476.00 with a loss of -0.14% percent or -5.00 point.


Asian stocks rose modestly on Wednesday, supported by upbeat Wall Street earnings and hopes China’s government spending would boost growth but trade tensions remained in focus ahead of a meeting between the U.S. and European Commission presidents.

With the trade spotlight now swinging to Europe, spreadbetters expected the region’s stocks to open lower, with Britain’s FTSE (FTSE) dipping 0.15 percent, Germany’s DAX (GDAXI) losing 0.3 percent and France’s CAC (FCHI) shedding 0.15 percent.

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan (MIAPJ0000PUS) gained 0.2 percent.

The index extended the previous day’s gains made after China said it will adopt a more vigorous fiscal policy to cushion the impact of external uncertainties.


For the day France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,442.59 up with +0.15% percent or +8.40 point. Germany’s DAX closed at 12,647.30  with a loss of -0.33% percent or -42.09 point. the FTSE 100 closed at 7,687.83  with a loss of -0.28% percent or -21.22 point. 


For the day the Dow is trading at 25,241.94 up with +0.79% percent or +197.65 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,820.40 up with +0.48% percent or +13.42 point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,840.77  with a loss of -0.014% percent or ?1.10 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,614.25 up with 0.46% percent or +103.77 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,923.52 up with +0.91% percent or +260.95 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,903.65  with  a loss of  -0.066% percent or ?1.92 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 36,915.78 up with  +0.25% percent or +90.68  point at 12:15 PM.
