The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,412.50 up  with +0.89% percent or +48.00 point .The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,389.50 up with  +0.86% percent or +63.00 point.  The DAX Futures is trading at 12,570.50 up with +0.47% percent or +59.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,447.00  up with +0.15%  percent or +5.00 point.


The CAC index continues to head higher and at its highest level since January 29. Currently, the CAC is trading at 5464 points, up 0.24% on the day. On the release front, key French indicators looked sluggish. GDP dropped to 0.3% in the first quarter, down from 0.6% in Q4 of 2017. This missed the estimate of 0.4%. Consumer data was even worse. Consumer spending fell from 2.4% to o.1%, short of the forecast of 0.4%. Preliminary CPI also dropped sharply, falling from 1.0% to 0.1%, which matched the estimate. In the US, Advance GDP is expected in at 2.0%.

For the day France’s CAC 40 closed at 5,453.58 up with +0.74% percent or +40.29  point. the FTSE 100 closed at 7,421.43 up with +0.57% percent or +42.11 point.  Germany’s DAX closed at 12,500.47  up with +0.63% percent or +78.17 point.


For the day the Dow is trading at 24,322.34 up with +0.99% percent or +238.51 point. The S&P 500 is trading at 2,666.94 up with +1.04% percent or +27.54  point. The Nasdaq Composite is trading at 7,118.68 up with +1.64% percent or +114.94 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,467.87 up with +0.66% percent or +148.26 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 30,221.74  up with +0.71% percent or +214.06  point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,081.00 up with +0.19% percent or  +5.97 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 34,952.32 up with +0.69% percent or +238.72  point at 12:15 PM.
