CAC Futures Updates

The CAC 40 Index is currently witnessing a climb of 58 points, which is equivalent to a rise of 0.70 percent, as of Thursday. Following closely behind Hermes International with a gain of 4.26% is Legrand with a gain of 4.12% and Kering with a gain of 4.05%. Hermes International is at the head of the gains. ENGIE, which saw a fall of 2.50%, was followed by TotalEnergies SE, which experienced a dip of 2.33%, and Bouygues, which experienced a decline of 1.94%. These three companies are the main decliners.

Despite the fact that the broader European markets were going downhill after the rally that occurred the previous session, which was spurred by breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and a sense of confidence over the de-escalation of tensions in the Middle East, the CAC 40 in France enjoyed a tiny increase on Thursday. Positive sentiment was felt throughout the area as a result of stronger-than-anticipated factory orders data from Germany, which contributed to the gains.

Following the revelation of revenue that was lower than expected for the first quarter, the utility giant Engie witnessed a fall of 2.2% on the French stock market. In the meantime, the conglomerate Bouygues had a loss of 2% after it announced that it would not sell any assets in order to finance its joint bid for the competitor operator SFR.
