Cac Futures

On Wednesday, Cac Futures are experiencing some weakness due to concerns regarding the outlook for Fed rate cuts, alongside Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s remarks indicating that equity valuations are elevated. The benchmark CAC 40 has decreased by 20.34 points, reflecting a decline of 0.26%, currently standing at 7,851.68.

Several Fed officials, such as Michelle Bowman, Raphael Bostic, and Austan Goolsbee, express concerns regarding increasing risks to the labor market. Meanwhile, others focus mainly on the potential for above-target inflation to rise further due to tariffs and various policies. Stellantis, down 3.4%, holds the position of the largest decline in the benchmark CAC 40 index. Where as –

  • Hermes International is experiencing a decline of nearly 2%.
  • Carrefour is experiencing an increase of approximately 2.3%.
  • LVMH and Pernod Ricard have decreased by almost 1%.
  • Renault, EssilorLuxottica, Capgemini, L’Oreal, Euronext,
    Publicis Groupe, and Saint Gobain are all down between 1% and 1.7%.

Dassault Systemes, Credit Agricole, Edenred, Michelin and Accor are experiencing moderate losses. Thales, Bouygues, Kering and Legrand have increased by 1.3 to 1.6%. Safran and Schneider Electric have decreased by almost 1%. Shares of multinational technology service and consulting company Atos SE have increased by 4.7% following the company’s acquisition of a significant cybersecurity contract from the European Commission for technical operation services.
