Cac Futures are currently in negative territory on Wednesday afternoon as investors adopt a cautious stance, anticipating the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy announcement scheduled for later today. The benchmark CAC 40 experienced a decline of 24.59 points, representing a decrease of 0.31%, currently standing at 7,793.63.

  • TotalEnergies has decreased by 1.4%.
  • BNP Paribas has seen a decline of 1.3%.
  • Unibail Rodamco, Capgemini, and Vinci have experienced
    a decline ranging from 0.8% to 1%.
  • Kering, Sanofi, and EssilorLuxottica have increased by 1 to 1.1%.

AXA, Bouygues, L’Oreal, Veolia Environment, Credit Agricole, Eurofins Scientific, and Capgemini are exhibiting weakness as well. Acco, Thales, Edenred, and Dassault Systemes are experiencing slight increases in their performance. French catering and facility management group Sodexo has seen an increase of nearly 1% following the renewal of a five-year contract with Shell. Final data from Eurostat indicated that Eurozone consumer prices increased slightly less than previously estimated in August, as reported in the final figures released by Eurostat on Wednesday.

Consumer prices increased by 2% year-on-year, remaining consistent with July’s rate. However, the figure was adjusted downward from the 2.1% projected on September 2. Excluding the prices of energy, food, alcohol, and tobacco, core inflation held steady at 2.3%. The rate was consistent with the preliminary estimate. The harmonized index of consumer prices recorded a monthly increase of 0.1%, revised down from the previously estimated 0.2%. Additionally, the data indicated that inflation within the EU27 remained stable at 2.4% in August.
