CAC Futures Morning Update on 27 August

The CAC 40 Futures is trading at 5,457.00  up with +0.40% percent or +21.50 point .The FTSE 100 Futures is trading at 7,572.00  up with +0.45% percent or +34.00 point.  The DAX Futures is trading at 12,463.50 up with +0.57%  percent or  +71.00 point . The EURO Stoxx 50 Futures is trading at 3,441.00  up with +0.35% percent or +12.00 point.

TODAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

Asian shares rose on Monday, taking heart from comments by the Federal Reserve chairman that drove Wall Street to record highs on Friday, and as a tweak to the way China’s central bank manages its currency boosted the yuan and stocks.

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan (MIAPJ0000PUS) was up 1.1 percent, while Japan’s Nikkei stock index (N225) closed 0.9 percent higher.

European share markets were set to follow Asia higher, with European spreadbetters expecting Germany’s DAX (GDAXI) to gain 45 points to 12,439 and France’s CAC 40 (FCHI) expected to open 22 points higher at 5,454.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 22,799.64 up with +0.88% percent or +197.87 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,270.32 up with +2.16% percent or  +598.45 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,780.90 up with +1.89% percent or +51.47  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 38,687.55  up with +1.14% percent or  +435.75  point at 12:15 PM.
